Our Monday Nights

Just thought you might like a glimpse of what a normal weeknight is like at our house.  It starts off with the garage door opening and then Olivia will start cheering, "Dad's home!"  Depending on the day, Olivia may hide so that when Niki walks in the door, he's already in a hide and seek game.  Or, she'll just jump out from her hiding spot and yell to surprise him.  Most days though she'll grab the first thing she sees and as soon as Niki walks in the door she'll start talking his ear off about whatever it is.  Sometimes she has something specifically set aside to show him (art, potty sticker chart, etc.) but usually it's just something along the lines of, "Dad, I have this pony and blah blah blah pony blah blah Dad blah pony blah blah."  After hugs and kisses all around Olivia shouts, "I want to play ball Dad.  Dad, lets play ball."

Volleyball drills usually take place before and after dinner.

I try to get all the laudry done on Mondays so most of the time there is at least one or two loads that still need to be folded that evening if I want a bed to sleep on that night.  Olivia loves laundry day.  Can you tell?

We finished laundry folding and Olivia decided she wanted to do her sneaky Spiderman routine.  This gets done at least two or three times a week.
