Olivia's First Tent Camping

Roasting hot dogs and then marshmellows over the fire. Olivia was quite impressed with how delicious her s'more was.

Maybe next time we'll make it farther than the backyard.

Park Art

The greenbelt has a couple areas with some interesting art work. This trio of dogs is one that we frequently pass by but we rarely do a thorough inspection of.
In case you can't tell what is happening in this picture, the dog is riding a tricycle and yes, Olivia is trying to take it away from him. She actually got a bit upset about the ordeal and was first telling the dog to get off the bike and repeating, "Baby ride the bike?" When that didn't work she started yelling, "Mommy help" and began pulling at the bike.

This face is conveying, "Oh no, I seemed to have walked right into this giant spot of mud. Mom, I had no idea this was here, oh how unfortunate. I'll need to stomp several times in this direction if I am ever to get out of this mess."

Goodbye, but not Forever

This past weekend Olivia helped two of our favorite people pack for their big move to Tahoe/Reno. These are the same fantastic pair that we did our first trip to the snow with and now that they will have a permanent residence for us to do a longer snow vacation next year. We wish you both the very best and hope that in a couple of years, you'll be ready to move back to Davis.
As much as Olivia will miss seeing Brian and Jess (aka Mr and Mrs Foster) she'll probably miss their dog, who Olivia refers to as Corey dog, even more.

Out for a stroll

You gotta love a crazy yet cute smile
