Happy Birthday Bella

Bella turned three this week and had an incredibly fun and very girly dress up princess fariy party.

Costume Fitting

I bought the fabric for this Tinkerbell outfit back in May and now that Olivia has a princess fairy party to go to this weekend, it's crunch time for sewing.  I needed Olivia to try it on so that I could adjust the waist band and do a couple extra things.  She loves it, did not want to take it off, and since I was smart enough to make it about two sizes too big, she'll be able to wear it awhile.

Looking at these photos, I'm thinking that I really should have fixed Olivia's hair up a bit.

First Hula Hoop Lesson

These mini hula hoops from gymnastics class were just Olivia's size.

Singer/Writer/Composer

Olivia calls this one the Numbers song

and this one is called Boom a Room

There are two more popular songs, Na Na Na and Na Noo Na, but those are only sung on the potty, so you won't be seeing them on the site.  I'm not that cruel.  And, please forgive the state of our office.  We started cleaning it out to make it more functional but we seem to be heading in the wrong direction.

The Vanishing Jam

That blackberry jam we made a couple weeks ago, it's almost gone.  We have but two measly little jars left.  Can you guess why it seems to be dissappearing so quickly?  By the way, Olivia has a favorite shirt.  When I was going through the photos for this month I realized that the majority of them all have her wearing her Batman.  I even once caught her singing, "Na Na Na Na Batman, Na Na, Batman."

The Giant Bears

Olivia and I went to Costco today and we were strolling down the toy aisles and ran into these fantastic bears.  As soon as Olivia spotted them she wanted to jump in with them.  So, I did what any caring parent would do.  I waited until the aisle was clear of people and I tossed her in.

I know most people have some kind of fantasy about convertig an entire room of their house to be devoted to say, a ball pit, trampolines, etc.  I would choose giant bears.

The Name Game

A couple weeks ago Olivia entered into a really fun phase.  Her animals started to get names and the pretend games are getting much more entertaining.

This is still Green Rock Rattlesnake

This is Muppy

Depeding on the day, this is either Pinky, Pinty, or Pixy

This is Pee-See

And this, this is Bixy
