Dress Up Time

Gotta love a girl who loves her coon's skin hat (the hat part is fake fur but the tail is real)

Happy Father's Day

We only have these two pictures from Father's day so I'll just tell you about how we spent the weekend.  On Saturday, Olivia went to her very first gymnastics class (very exciting) and we went to Home Depot to buy 600 lbs of sand for Olivia's very own sandbox.  Niki and Olivia went to work that afternoon getting the sides built and two flower boxes put in.  On Sunday morning, Olivia and mom made a donut run to surprise dad with a champion's breakfast and later that afternoon we all went to see Toy Story 3, the sand went in the sandbox, and we never saw Olivia again.  Just kidding, it only feels that way because she would rather be in that sandbox than anywhere else.  For at least three days we only knew she was around because of the pile of sand in the bath tub each night.

Hanging with Friends

A lot of time this month has been spent just playing around with friends.
Gotta love girl time

We love you Auntie Charla and are so glad you and Uncle Ashley came all this way to visit us.  Olivia still tells me that Ava only likes strawberry jam with her eggs.

Happy Birthday Dad

Happy Birthday Niki.  Olivia really took charge for this birthday.  She picked out the Toy Story icecream cake and spent about 3 days putting together Niki's gift.  I forgot to get candles.  We are signing out 27.  Get it?

Olivia painting the star box.  Once the paint was dry she colored on it with markers and drew a big O on the inside lid so Niki would know it was from her.  Then, she colored a page from her My Little Pony coloring book, put it inside, and then went through her sticker collection about three times before settling on a couple stickers to also add to the box.  Finally, a small handfull of chocolate hugs went in and she wrapped it in tissue paper.  When it came time to open the gift she graciously helped, opened the box as quickly as she could, and started eating the chocolates.

That weekend Lolo came up to work on our truck.  Olivia helped by moving tools around with a magnetic stick and pink mittens as work gloves.

The Reception

The Party Barn
The cute favors- deck of cards

The entrance

Cake cutting (obviously)

After stuffing herself on bacon wrapped scallops and small appetizer sausages, three fruit roll ups, and a couple crackers, Olivia promply fell asleep.  This is how she spent the first half of the reception.  See her on the right side of the picture?

And this is how she spent the second half of the reception.

The Wedding

The Bride.  Jen truly looked stunning.  Olivia made the comment, "Auntie Jen is wearing a beautiful white dress.  Yeah she is."  Then Olivia went on to talk about her own beautiful blue dress for the hundreth time that day.

The men

The flower girl, who messed up her hair before the wedding even started.

The bridesmaids

Olivia walked down the aisle without any tears (triumph).  However, she held my hand the entire way and refused to throw any flower petals until she got to the front where she started throwing them on the groomsmen and bridesmaids.

We're looking good.

A quick practice run.

The Rehearsal (and dinner and hotel and pool)

Olivia got some new sunglasses as a flower girl gift at the rehearsal dinner.  She was very proud to show them off.
