Getting Ready for Birthday Weekend

The final countdown for Olivia's birthday has started. On Sunday she will be turning three. We have some big plans this weekend with the Crucillo family coming up and even Olivia's great Grandmother who Olivia refers to as Ga-mama. First item on the list for preparations: making the Nemo cake.

Next item on the list: setting up a guest bed

For the big birthday weekend we have the o-wahs (Lolos) and auntie shell (Richelle) coming up to visit. Olivia wanted to help put together some of our guest accommodations. Making the bed meant emptying the hallway closet and selecting only the finest of blankets for our guests. Notice most of the blankets that made the cut were hers. And, what guest bed doesn't need a small ottoman from the living room?

Happy Birthday Olivia- Surprise

Gamma and Aunt Banna surprised Olivia this weekend with an early birthday party. Aunt Brianna made a delicious and beautiful ocean cake for Olivia.

Olivia opening her awesome new block set. This had been on her wish list and she was so excited to get it.

Olivia and Gamma building with the new lego set. Once it got high enough, it was transfered from the table onto the floor so Olivia could keep adding pieces to the top.

Merry Christmas Ava

One of Olivia's Christmas traditions is to do a jammie gift exchange with her best friend Ava. This was a very happy reunion for the two of them since the last time they saw each other was before the holidays.

Olivia was particularly impressed with Ava's monkey jammies since she has the same pair at home. Apparently Ava's mom and Olivia's mom both shop at Costco.
