The Toddler Rail is here. Every package that is delivered to our house is called a present and this was the largest of Olivia's 'presents.' It was very exciting to open. As soon as Niki got home, the two of them started to assemble.
Olivia was a big help.
We pulled out all my fabric and played around with combinations until Olivia settled on something she liked. It looks like we will be going with a flower pattern on white and some solid marroon. Olivia is doing a test run with the fabrics. I really thought she was going to go with the bugs. Oh well. At least from this picture, I think we might need to make the marroon the focus instead of the floral. There is too much white going on.
We'll post some more pictures once we get the room in the final stages. Everything has been moved back in but we still need to add some art to the walls and get the bedding done. We did end up with a slightly different furniture arrangement too. All in all, this was quite a productive weekend. Olivia really loves the new bed and calls it the NEEEEEW bed (emphasis on the new) and almost always will then comment on it being a big present.
